One photo is enough. A few small details help.
Old, blurry, faded, scanned, and phone photos are welcome. We can do a lot with restoration, but these tips help us make the preview feel more like them.
Best photos
- Face is visible and not covered
- Eyes are open or clearly recognizable
- Original file is better than a screenshot
- Natural light or soft indoor light
- One pet per photo if possible
Still okay
- Old printed photo scanned by phone
- Low light photo with a clear face
- Photo with people in the background
- Only one favorite photo left
- Small scratches or faded color
Harder to restore
- Face is very tiny in the frame
- Heavy motion blur across the eyes
- Strong shadow over the face
- Screenshot from a video call
- Photo cropped through ears or nose
Not sure which one to use?
Send the best 2-3 photos. We will choose the one that gives the gentlest result and tell you honestly if none of them can be restored well.
